We're a small owner operated Chimney service business, located in the historic mill village of Waterford, in the town of Blackstone, Massachusetts. We came here 20 years ago with an idea of establishing a company with a solid customer base and to provide those customers with the best possible service available, at the best price around. I'm proud to say that we've succeeded in our endeavor. I would like to thank all of you who have chosen us to be their service provider for all of your solid fuel heating needs. Truth be told....
Very often We're asked "How did you come up with such a strange name for your company?", well we tell them. Did you know that years ago, the Irish used live geese to sweep their chimneys. They would tie a rope around the birds neck and throw it down the chimney. Well you could probably imagine that the goose was not to crazy about this idea, so it franticly flapped it's powerful wings and struggled as it was pulled up the chimney, scraping away the creosote from inside the chimney walls, hence a black goose. See Irishmen were smart they knew that an unswept chimney will burn. Today we don't use live geese (The M.S.P.C.A. would frown on that.) but we do use brushes properly sized for every individual flue and a powerful vacuum cleaner called the SootSweeper®, to positively assure you of a "No Soot-No Mess Guarantee".
